WEDDING | KRIS & SHANNON

Good afternoon everyone! !  Today is my favorite day of the week, Sunday.  It’s the one day of the week when I intentionally try be a couch potato and recharge for Monday.  Yesterday was an exciting day because I was able to photograph a February wedding AND have good weather (50+ degrees).  Kris and Shannon were the lucky couple who enjoyed the near perfect weather at the Misty Valley Wedding Chapel just outside of Shelbyville, Kentucky.  Kris and Shannon were a fabulous couple to work with and they definitely made my job easy.  I couldn’t wait to get home and edit some of their images, so I picked out some of my favorites and posted them below.  Thank you Kris and Shannon for being so much fun to work with!

Kris loves dogs and breeds award winning Doberman’s, so I found it funny that this cat kept following us around ALL DAY!

ENGAGEMENT | JULIE ANNE & JACOB

Today was the perfect day for an engagement session.  Jacob proposed to Julie Anne this summer and after coordinating schedules, we were finally able to take some beautiful pictures.  Here is a sneak preview.

SENIOR PORTRAITS | ELIZABETH

Hello everyone!!  I hope you are staying dry.   If you live in Louisville then you know how frustrated I am with this constant rain that wont go away.  This past Saturday was one of the nicest days we’ve had in a long time, so Elizabeth and I were lucky enough to shoot her senior portraits without getting wet.  Her pictures rocked.  Enjoy!

WEDDING | TARAH & WESLEY

Hello everyone!  I  just realized that my new site only has resent portrait sessions posted and no weddings.  Since wedding season isn’t quite here yet for me this year, I am posting some images from one of last years weddings.  Enjoy!

Have a great weekend!

HAPPY 80TH BIRTHDAY PARTY!

I’ve been to a few surprise birthday parties during my 24 years, but none of them were as exciting as the surprise party I photographed last week.  It was a genuine surprise and even I had the biggest smile on my face as Marty’s mother walked into the room to see some of her closest friends and family.  At 80 years young Marty’s mother was a ball of energy and full of jokes, which made the night very entertaining.  Here are some of the images from the party.
